My, I haven't spoken in a while. I haven't exactly been dormant, though.

I'd like to share a bit of information about my people. Or rather, dragons in general:

Many of you may think that dragons can effortlessly breathe fire anytime they desire. This is not true--at least, for the dragons of my world. It is simply impossible for our bodies to consistently maintain such an element all on their own.

In my world, there is a common type of rock with unusual properties. We call it "ridstone". Dragons chew it habitually, and a certain chemical in the ridstone reacts inside a special chamber somewhere between our lungs and our stomachs. This reaction allows us to breathe fire for a fixed amount of time. It does no damage to our bodies, and the ridstone is plentiful enough that there is no danger of it running out.

It's simple knowledge to someone like me, but others may find this particularly informative.

Pardon my lack of activity; being a dragon, the warm weather tends to make me feel lazy.

I'm fairly sure I'm a black dragon now. I'm comfortable with this. I've been appearing that way to Pereppi for a long time.

As far as my role in my own world goes, I am a "channeler". That is my title. I'm not...entirely certain what it means, but I believe that a channeler's duty is to carry a great deal of knowledge from many ages past. This knowledge is inherent and, for the most part, subconscious. It passes on through reincarnation. As far as I know, there is only ever one channeler at a time.

What is my duty, then? Am I simply a vessel for knowledge?

(In relation to my previous entry) I have found a new icon for myself. A short time ago, Pereppi was sifting through some anime images, and I found that the character Ceres from a particular series resembled my human form. Pleased by this find, I found and selected this icon.

As of late, it seems that I am Pereppi's most, if only, active muse. I can't say where the others have gone; perhaps they are sleeping, or perhaps they have lost their strength and are no longer muses. As far as my duties go these days, I tend to offer comfort in the form of philosophical guidance. Ever the Dragon, am I not?

Ah, how refreshing. Pereppi has been kind enough to change my layout for me. Perhaps she'll do the same for the others, as well.

I think I'd like some new icons...I'll have to let her know if we come across anything that catches my eye.

Yes indeed, you see true strenght can only be
seen when a person has "fallen". Only
then one can tell how they will handle it. Just
don't make others fall so you can know who they

I was indeed dormant for a while, but I have been somewhat active as of late.

And I have been developing.

It has been determined that the realm I inhabit along with other dragons is known as Fillivar. There is also some debate now as to whether or not silver is really my color.

Pep saved this icon a while ago. I find it terribly amusing.

Pep has spoken with me about joining an...RPG, I think she called it. I told her I was interested. That made her happy, but a little fidgety--the girl's still trying to decide what color eyes I have...

I would like a sunny day, please. Just one day filled with sun so that I may stretch out on a cliff somewhere and bask in its warmth. I do love the way the light feels on my wings...

This is my first entry, then. I suppose I should share a bit about myself. Pep has yet to weave a story around me, and build my background, so I'll tell you a little of what I know at the moment. That is, who I am at the moment.

I am a dragon--not a human, as it may appear. I am a very unique kind of dragon who can take human form at will. This comes in handy when settling disputes between races, as those of my people tend to be "mediators" of a sort. We are also able to walk among humans with ease.

I am also fairly young for a dragon--only several hundred years old. I am told my human form appears to be around the age of twenty. We dragons lead long lives, though, so it may appear that way for a while.

I am not sure what Pep plans for me, but I will go wherever she may lead, and whenever she decides. I will always be here if she needs me. That is what a muse does, correct?
